The McBride lab operates within the Rare Neurological Diseases Group focuses on the study of neurological diseases defined as having a prevalence of less than 1:2000. We are currently located on the 6th floor of the Montreal Neurological Institute.

The McBride lab is looking to recruit enthusiastic, inquisitive, and eager to learn graduate students (MSc and Ph.D.) and post-doctoral fellows with an interest in the cell biology of mitochondrial behavior

Undergraduates: Undergraduate students are always welcome provided there is space in the lab.  Please send your CV and brief email explaining why you want to work in our lab.

Graduates (MSc and Ph.D.): Include your CV (with GPA and 3 references), as well as a brief description of your previous research experience. Please also explain why you want to join our lab and details of what project(s) you would like to pursue. 

Postdoctoral fellows: Include your CV (with 3 references),  a short description of your previous research experience,  a brief proposal of future research that you would like to pursue in the lab, and your overall career goals. Please also list any fellowships/grants that you will be eligible for.
