Tim König
Post-Doctoral Fellow
Tim obtained his Ph.D. in the lab of Thomas Langer at the University of Koln, after a short internship with Christian Ungermann at the University of Osnabruck, Germany. A highly skilled biochemist with experience in membrane trafficking, the contribution of mitochondrial proteases to calcium signaling, and more. In our lab, Tim is tackling the molecular mechanism of mitochondrial vesicle formation and cargo selection. A challenging project, Tim does not shy away from complexity and is using our established assay systems, along with his own creative, newly designed assays and tools to crack this important problem.
